Selamat siang. I'm an American living in Jakarta and a German friend asked me to find out anything I can about her great-grand-father who used to live in Central Java in the early 20th Century. His name was Friedrich August Eduard Warnecke and he owned/leased a farm near Salatiaga and Semarang around 1910. He passed away either in 1916 or 1917 on Java.
